Goal:

  • Showcase the beauty and accessibility of U.S. destinations via passenger rail.

  • Promote train travel as a scenic and community-connected transportation option.

Challenge:

  • Compete for attention in a market dominated by air and car travel.

  • Highlight rail’s impact on communities nationwide.

Action:

  • Sent a paid intern on a month-long cross-country trip, stopping at 22 cities.

  • Shared daily stories on social media, interviewed passengers, and met with civic leaders.

  • Highlighted local culture, food, and attractions accessible by rail.

Results:

  • Ongoing annual campaign with strong organic reach.

  • Built a library of authentic content showcasing passenger rail’s value.
